Here are some of our favorite things to do around Camp Pendleton.
Oceanside Sunset Market
Thousands of residents and visitors alike gather each week to enjoy the varied hot food offerings, the eclectic merchandise selections, the gourmet packaged food section and the live entertainment.

Camp Pendleton Marina 
We have taken advantage of the Camp Pendleton Marina several times. We rented a kayak and peddle boats. It was a lot of fun and very reasonably priced. Here are some of the services they offer at the marina-
Boat and Board Rentals, Adult Sailing Classes, Raft Ups, Harbor Cruises at Sunset, Slips for privately owned boats, Charters and sailing classes.
San Diego Safari Park
The Safari Park is an expansive wildlife sanctuary that is home to more than 2,600 animals representing more than 300 species. Its renowned botanical collection represents 3,500 species and 1.5 million specimens. Over half of the Park’s 1,800 acres have been set aside as protected native species habitat. It is located 30 miles north of downtown San Diego in the San Pasqual Valley near Escondido, California.

LEGOLAND California offers more than 60 interactive rides, shows and attractions, as well as restaurants, shopping and beautiful landscape features specifically geared for families with children ages 2 to12. Click here for my review of Legoland
