Many organizations around San Diego and Camp Pendleton graciously offer holiday programs for military families. If you are a military family and need some help this during the holidays please check out the organizations below. Please note that many of these fill up very quickly!

USO Santa Store

USO San Diego’s annual Santa Store provides children of Active Duty, Reserve, and Guard ages 4-10 years old with an opportunity to learn the importance of giving by picking out the perfect gift for their parents. Santa Store also includes photos with Santa, a gift from Santa and a delicious home-cooked meal. ASYMCA Camp Pendleton Santa Store

The Santa Store is for E4’s and below with kids: ASYMCA Secret SANTA Wish List Registration is on the website under the “register today” button of the Secret SANTA event.

Operation Homefront Holiday Meals for Military

The added expense of the holiday season can be challenging for military families. We at Operation Homefront recognize that many military families are separated during this time due to deployments and others travel long distances to be together. Monarchs for Marines Free Holiday Lunch with Santa

Sponsored by the Mater Dei High School Dance Team and Football Team. Registration begins at 11am for the first 200 children ages 3 to 13. At noon, enjoy lunch, a visit with Santa and stocking gifts for each child.

Trees for Troops

Toys for Joy

The Rock Church partners with schools, businesses and community organizations, as well as local churches to coordinate the Toys for Joy Christmas Event. Toys for Joy is open to all children and families and no registration is required. One free toy will be given to all children attending the event ages 0-11. Lunch will be provided in addition to free entertainment, kids activities and giveaways. Some locations have free groceries and free gently used clothing available. Toys for Joy will take place Saturday December 12th at 4 locations throughout San Diego county!!
